SCORE Business Mentoring
U.S. Small Business Administration (resource partner)
placeholder
SCORE Business Mentoring is a nationwide network of volunteer, expert business mentors who provide free mentoring and low-cost workshops to people who want to start or grow a small business. SCORE operates as a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), meaning it works alongside the SBA but is staffed by experienced volunteer mentors rather than federal employees.
The program is open to any U.S. small business owner or aspiring entrepreneur who wants free mentorship. Whether you are still shaping a business idea, writing a business plan, launching your first product, or trying to grow an existing company, SCORE mentors can offer guidance based on their own business and industry experience. In addition to one-on-one mentoring, SCORE also offers workshops and educational programs, some of which may carry a low cost, though the core mentoring service is free.
Because SCORE mentors and chapters are located across the country, the best way to get help is to find the office or mentor nearest you rather than assuming a single national location or set of hours. Use the official SCORE mentor finder to search by location and connect with a volunteer mentor who fits your business needs. This directory listing does not include specific office addresses, hours, or fees, so always confirm those details directly through the official finder tool linked below.
