By Vince Czaplyski, Own the Answer Inc. · Data: grants.gov weekly; SBA 7(a) Lender Activity Report FY2025; FTZ Board list 2026 · Last reviewed · How we build this
Each full enrichment pass, each source refresh, and each change to the site's method, in date order. Newest first. The automated weekly grants.gov pull and daily deadline/link sweep run continuously and are not logged individually.
Methodology and Updates pages; IndexNow; editor identified
New Methodology page documenting every source by name, what we compute, and how corrections work. All sitemap URLs submitted to Bing via IndexNow. Publisher and editor now identified on every page.
Full enrichment pass
All 278 grant listings re-verified against their source pages; descriptions, eligibility and how-to-apply text regenerated from the current source. 13 programs currently open or rolling; closed programs remain listed and marked closed.
Legacy URL redirects
Every URL from the previous WordPress site (state pages, research pages, old grant and lender slugs) now redirects to its equivalent on the new site.
Automated freshness
Weekly federal grant refresh from the grants.gov API and a daily sweep that closes expired deadlines and flags dead apply links now run as scheduled jobs on the site's own infrastructure.
Site rebuilt on a new platform
GetFundedUSA moved off WordPress to a faster static-plus-database stack. Same 278 grants, 200 SBA 7(a) lenders (FY2025 Lender Activity Report), 5 SBA resource-partner programs and 261 Foreign-Trade Zones; per-state lender rankings rebuilt from 5,348 state-level rows.
Upcoming: SBA publishes the FY2026 7(a) Lender Activity Report after the fiscal year closes (expected late 2026); lender tiers and state rankings will be rebuilt from it. See Methodology for how each source is used.
